Inaugaration Conference of the European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs

The Inauguration Conference of the European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs will take place on 15 November in Warsaw, Poland. The conference is being organised jointly by the European Commission and the Polish Presidency of the European Union.

The European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs is one of the actions proposed in the 2011 Review of the European Small Business Act and aims at promoting female entrepreneurship in Europe. The Mentors Network enforces and complements the actions to promote, support and encourage female entrepreneurship that started with the creation of the European Network of Female Entrepreneurship Ambassadors in 2009. The Mentors Network will provide advice and support to women entrepreneurs on the start-up, running and growth of their enterprises in the early stages of the business.

Over 17 countries will be represented at this inaugaration event including Ireland. The Irish network of mentors currently being established, will represent Ireland at the inaugaration event, where they each will be formally inaugurated into the Eurooean Network by high-level representatives of the Polish Presidency and the European Commission.
